vladimir gusev russian rider from Astana teamVladimir Nikolayevich Gusev born 4 July 1982 in Nizhnij Novgorod) is a Russian professional road racing cyclist for UCI ProTeam Astana. Gusev has been a professional since 2004, spending two years each at Team CSC and Discovery Channel before moving to Astana in 2008.

At the 2006 Paris-Roubaix, Gusev finished fourth but was later one of three riders disqualified by the race jury for illegally riding though a closed level-crossing.
